Who we are
These terms cover the LetterMilo iPad app and lettermilo.com, made by Ho Ye Lam.
The app and website are provided by Kin-Yee, based in the Netherlands and registered at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 75399423. Email hoyelam@kin-yee.com with questions.
Learning with Milo
LetterMilo offers activities for exploring English letters, words, and sentences. Parents, guardians, and teachers should help children choose suitable activities and manage permissions and sharing.
Activities, stars, and practice records encourage participation. They are not a reading assessment, diagnosis, or guarantee of a particular learning outcome. Speech recognition can miss correctly spoken words or accept an unintended response. Tapping and practising together remain available.
Using the app
Use LetterMilo lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Do not interfere with its operation or misuse its sharing features. You can stop using LetterMilo at any time.
Some features depend on your iPad, operating system, permissions, and available language models. Speech recognition is available only on supported devices. Downloading the app, updates, or Apple language models may require an internet connection.
Stars and Milo’s belongings
Stars are earned through activities and used for items inside LetterMilo. They have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money. Progress and Milo’s belongings are stored in the app’s data on your device. Deleting that data can remove them.
Proprietary Rights
Milo, the LetterMilo character, including its character design and artwork, is the intellectual property of Kin-Yee. All rights reserved.
LetterMilo’s software, artwork, narration, and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Third-party components and recordings remain subject to their respective licences and notices.
You may save and share the Milo pictures created through the app’s sharing feature. This permission does not transfer ownership of Milo or LetterMilo’s underlying artwork or other materials. Please do not present shared pictures as an endorsement by LetterMilo. Kin-Yee reserves all rights not expressly granted in these Terms, subject to applicable law.
Privacy and other services
Our Privacy Policy explains local storage, microphone use, diagnostics, optional analytics, and sharing. Other apps and websites you choose to use have their own terms and privacy practices.
App Store licence and your rights
For an App Store download, the applicable App Store terms and Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also apply, unless a separate custom licence is supplied. These website terms do not replace that licence.
Nothing on this page limits consumer rights or other protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
